Groups for Men

Gay/Queer Men’s Process Group

There are unique challenges to connect and belong as queer and gay men. On that path, there is an enormous potential for hurt—both to ourselves and those around us.

It can be difficult to move through daily life without it being inextricably tied to some form of group membership, from our intimate relationships to where we fit in at work to within our own families.  However, this terrain can be one of the most intimidating and unfamiliar to navigate, particularly for queer men. This can take the form of misunderstandings, unsatisfying relationships, compulsive leanings, and loneliness.

Groups are a powerful format to:

  • Learn our “role” in group settings

  • Communicate and connect

  • Identify how you are perceived by others

  • Your impact on others and vice versa

  • Offer and receive feedback

  • Experiment and practice new facets of your potential through the guidance and safety of a group therapist.

Please contact me to determine your path in joining a group.  All members require an initial screening and agreement of 6 months commitment.
